In this clay class students will focus on pushing themselves to the next level with new creative forms. Students can handbuild or throw forms on the pottery wheel and will be challenged to alter their shapes to create new interesting forms. Students will learn techniques like altering from round to oval or squares. Techniques such as faceting, fluting, and darting will also be covered. These new multiplicated forms will provide a fun new perspective to decorating the surface to add meaningful surface design.
