This class is open to those interested in expressing their love of nature through the medium of clay. We will be using images and features in nature to inspire form, texture, and color to create functional or sculptural works of art. Use found leaves and twigs from your garden to imprint literal or abstract textures to create interesting designs on the surface of clay. Or be inspired by all the joys fall has to offer by letting your work take on to true forms of pumpkins, gourds, and leaves. Those passionate about nature will enjoy bringing the outdoors into the clay studio.
