Children's Parties
We love any excuse to celebrate in a fun, creative, and educational way. We'll have everything set up for you and your guests. Generally events are planned for a two hour session. This session includes one and a half hours of fun instruction focused on a theme of your choice. The instruction time is split up over the session to allow time for creating, snacks, and socialization. First all your guest will get to create a fun project with wet clay. While their projects dry a little, our focus will turn to the pottery wheel where each child get's a turn to experience making on the wheel through a fun game. Your party will finish with painting and adding all those special one of a kind details to finish their clay creations. All projects will be finished with a glossy food-safe glaze and fired in our kilns to make a lasting keepsake from your celebration.

Parties at Savannah's Clay Spot are not just for the kids, but adults are invited to be creative and have fun too! Gather friends and family and let the party begin. Socialize, snack, and learn something new while creating with clay. Once all your guest have arrived your group will be walked through a fun tutorial and then everyone can have fun individualizing their own clay projects. Have a great time at the studio and will get a wonderful handmade functional clay project to be used in daily routines while serving as a beautiful reminder of your wonderful get together.
Local groups recommended, pottery made during these sessions can be picked up at the studio two weeks after the event. Projects can not be mailed to participants.
