This class is open to those interested in expressing their love of nature through the medium of clay. We will be using images in nature to inspire form, texture, and color to create functional or sculptural works of art. Use leaves right out of your garden to imprint onto the surface of your clay, or shells you collected on a vacation to create texture, or create planters to bring the outdoors into your indoor world. Demonstrations will be given both on and off the wheel and students are welcome to work at their own pace in their favorite way to construct.
